Getting to Machu Picchu by car rather than by train is a little bit longer option, that but, you will save a lot of money. During the trip you can appreciate the beautiful scenery of the Andes, the jungle of Cusco and its rivers, the treatment of people are very friendly.

Day 1: Cusco - Hidroelectrica - Aguas Calientes
7:30-8:00 am pick up from your hotel. We approach the tourist mobility to travel to the Urubamba Sacred Valley and later to Ollantaytambo. After a brief stop in this town we will continue our journey of ascent to Málaga pass (4.316m), where we will make a brief stop to appreciate the snow-capped mountains. From this place we will begin the descent through the jungle to Santa María and then through the Valley of the Urubamba River until we reach Santa Teresa, continuing our trip by car to Hydroelectric, from where we will start our trek by a flat path to Aguas Calientes. This walk is for an average of 3 hours and in the road we will have a view of Huayna Picchu and some constructions of the Inca city of Machu Picchu. In the evening we will receive indications prior to our ascent the next day. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.
Day 2: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu
The most important day of our trip, we will meet one of the "7 Wonders of the World". To get there we have two ways:
1 - Through the Inca Trail (walk of 1 hour 30 minutes of ascent: free)
2 - Tourist bus (short trip of 30 minutes: $12usd)
For those who choose to walk up, we will leave the hotel at 4:30 am to get to Machu Picchu very early and appreciate the sunrise. Those who wish to get on the bus, should take the first bus at 5:30 am. to arrive early at Machu Picchu and be able to appreciate the sunrise that is a unique spectacle.
Then we can visit Machu Picchu with the group and visit the most important points such as the urban sector, religious sector, agricultural sector, among others. This guided tour will last approximately 2 hours. and then they will have free time.
In the afternoon you will came back to the Aguas Calientes city, where is included your second overnight.
Day 3: Aguas Calientes - Hidroelectrica - Cusco
Aguas Calientes is a town located in the middle of a deep and green valley crossed by a river, and it has a variety of cafes and restaurants. The tour Machu Picchu Experience has considered you to try the local natural hot springs in Aguas Calientes.
After to take your breakfast in Aguas Calientes, you will come back around the 11:00 am to Hidroelectrica walking for 2,5 hours to take the bus from 14:00 to 14:30 pm, arriving to Cusco at 21:00 pm approximately.
