Wanakawri Hill, located in a rural area south of the city of Cusco, about 4.089m, is a massive rocky outcrop of the Andes, which is distinguished by being the highest hill in the area. According to the Spanish chronicles and the Andean mythology, the Wanakawri constitutes the most important huaca and oracle of the Inca culture.

At 7:00, we will leave the hotel towards the village of Hirca. Throughout our route, we will be surrounded by fantastic panoramic views of the Cusco valley. We will stop at 4.050m to visit a ceremonial archeological complex which was especially important during Inca times. Afterwards, we will resume our climb until we reach the peak of the mountain, located at 4,089m.
From here, we will have panoramic views of the city of the Cusco. Youâll be hiking 45 - 60 minutes!
